Representatives from German Agency E-MOBIL BW visit AIC

Agency supports electromobility in Baden-Württemberg region | 17/02/2011

Bilbao, 17.2.2011--- AIC-Automotive Intelligence Center is continuing its ongoing search for allies to work on international cooperation projects in a range of areas.

Representatives of the German agency E-Mobil BW GmbH visiting the center recently were particularly interested in finding out a lot more about the AIC open innovation model and its vehicle electrification activities. The visit also gave both sides a chance to explore channels for cooperation on mobility and transport issues.

The Agency provides support for electromobility in the German region of Baden-Württemberg, where it coordinates industrial and scientific initiatives.

Baden-Württemberg is the powerhouse of the German automotive industry. Daimler, Porsche and Audi are some of the best-known names working in the region.

This kind of visit is part of an AIC policy designed to publicize the capabilities of the Basque automotive industry. The Center targets professionals, official bodies and other organizations directly or indirectly linked to the automotive industry in search of potential cooperation projects.

AIC is a foundation promoted and backed by Biscay Provincial Council, Amorebieta-Etxano and Ermua city halls, a group of leading edge firms from the automotive industry and Basque automotive cluster ACICAE. AIC integrates knowledge, technology and industrial development under one umbrella in a bid to improve competitiveness in the industry.
