AIC launches second edition of PROJECT LEADER program

Bilbao, 11.10.2011--- AIC-Automotive Intelligence Center launched the second edition of its Advanced Project Leader Program designed to give professionals from the automotive industry the tools and skills they need to run projects in what is an increasingly dynamic and innovative sector.

The Advanced Project Leader Program was conceived in response to the industry’s growing need for professionals capable of managing complex projects involving clients based in a wide range of countries.

With the experience acquired in the first edition, in which 19 professionals from the industry took part, and with continuous improvement as the program driver, for the second edition the timetable for the most important subjects has been amplified, as have the practical visits to businesses and research centers. Furthermore, the team of lecturers has been enlarged in a bid to offer attendees state-of-the-art knowledge.

Scheduled to begin on 21 October, the second edition will last 256 hours, distributed in 2 different modules. Lecturers come from leading organizations such as the Kaizen Institute, Tecnalia, IK4, Azterlan, Renault Consulting, Tknika, Pragmatic, ESEUNE and Lea Artibai Ikastetxea.

AIC is a foundation promoted and backed by Biscay Provincial Council, Amorebieta-Etxano and Ermua city halls, a group of leading edge firms from the automotive industry and Basque automotive cluster ACICAE. AIC integrates knowledge, technology and industrial development under one umbrella in a bid to improve competitiveness in the industry.
