AIC launches second Edition of its People Development Program for the Automotive industry
120-hour program targets professionals with team-related responsibilities and also has 50 hours online tuition Contributes knowledge, skills and tools for improving the way organizations work | 20/03/2012BIlbao, 20.3.2012--- As part of its ongoing strategy to improve professionalism within the automotive industry as a whole, AIC-Automotive Intelligence Center has launched the second edition of PADP, the Centers its Advanced People Development Program for Automotive Companies.
Starting on April 19, course hands-on classes will last for 120 hours, plus 50 hours through the online AIC platform, using an eminently practical, participative methodology based on learning by experience combining theoretical classes with practical cases, including outdoor work experience.
Basically, the Program is designed to give professionals in the automotive industry working with teams and people state-of-the-art knowledge, skills and tools in the area. Thus, relations and results in organizations are optimized taking into account the challenges to the industry deriving from growing internationalization and the globalization of the economy, and the irresistible rise of new technologies.
Area directors, intermediate management and project leaders, and in general any professionals in the industry with responsibilities for teams and people are amongst the programs main targets.
Specific PADP objectives include:
· Providing the necessary contents (concepts, procedures, techniques, specific skills and positive attitude orientation) to ensure work with people in companies within the industry is done efficiently and effectively.
· Imbuing attendees with the attitudes and skills they need to motivate and lead human teams and ensure their people are completely committed to achieving departmental and organizational goals.
· Analyzing the role of people and teams within the companys strategic and operational reality, in environments affected by constant change, scenarios of uncertainty and growing globalization.
· Showing the steps to make effective connections between people, teams and organizations.
· Enabling participants to master the areas cutting-edge tools and methodologies.
· Designing practical application strategies for efficient talent and change management.
The program was conceived by the AIC Training Unit, which works to increase and improve the training levels of automotive professionals in all categories within the industry, facilitate new qualifications for the future of the industry, act as an external/internal training center for businesses, and attract talented people to the industry al sector.
AIC is a center for open innovation integrating knowledge, technology and development under one umbrella in a bid to improve competitiveness in the industry.
