AIC forum attracts top european automotive executives in Brussels
Executives join institutional representatives to discuss how a company can be global and still keep its industrial base in Europe Forum organized in cooperation with ACEA | 06/11/2012Bilbao, 6.11.2012--- In cooperation with European Automobile Manufacturers Association ACEA, AIC-Automotive Intelligence Center organized the AIC FORUM 2012 on Global Players with a Local Competitive Mnaufacturing Base held today in Autoworld, Brussels.
At the encounter, top European automotive executives discussed developments in the sector and talked about the challenges facing the car industry from a range of perspectives. Analysis concentrated on the need to improve competitiveness and find public and private strategies to enable firms to go global while keeping their industrial base in Europe.
To help the search for ideas, participants exchanged information, interests and experiences. Also attending the forum were representatives from vehicle makers, tier one suppliers and public administrations.
Speakers included AIC Director General Inés Anitua, ACEA General Secretary Ivan Hodac, CLEPA-European Association of Automotive Suppliers CEO Jean Marc Gales, European Commission-Joint Research Center Director General Dominique Ristori, FORD Europe Senior Vice President Wolfgang Schneider, DELPHI Europe President Steven A. Kiefer and Daniel Calleja, Director General, CE-DG ENTERPRISE.
