ACEA secretary General visits AIC to find out more about the importance of the Basque Automotive Industry

Bilbao, 18.3.2015--- Erik Jonnaert, Secretary General of ACEA (European Automobile Manufacturers' Association), today visited AIC-Automotive Intelligence Center.

During the visit, Jonnaert was given an insight into the Basque automotive industry, its importance and its international outreach, together with its main technological capabilities. He was subsequently taken on a guided tour of the AIC facilities, and was shown at first hand how its open innovation model actually functions.

Representing all vehicle makers operating in Europe, ACEA, the European Automobile Manufacturers' Association seeks to energize the industry by working with manufacturers, institutions and industrial associations with links to the industry. It also works on a permanent basis with EUCAR, the European Council for Automotive R&D.
