AIC and Deusto University launch second Automotive Engineering diploma
Course helps working and future automotive industry professionals hone their skills | 07/09/2015
Bilbao, 7.9.2015-- For the second year running, AIC-Automotive Intelligence Center and the University of Deusto (UD) are set to launch their Diploma in Automotive Engineering.
Besides being oriented towards industrial engineering graduates, the course is also available to people with experience in the sector looking to acquire or broaden their specific knowledge of the automotive industry.
Beginning on 21 September, the course involves 30 credits spread over five subjects: Management and production techniques in the automotive industry, Automotive technologies, Automotive manufacturing materials and processes, Vehicle dynamics and Product design and manufacture in the automotive industry. Course participants will also be given in-house training at selected companies .
According to AIC Director Inés Anitua,the results of the first course were really encouraging. We had 17 students, who managed to do in-house training in firms in the industry. Ninety percent of them are now working in the automotive sector.

For nearly 40 years, the University of Deusto Engineering Faculty has been offering higher computer engineering studies.
