AIC launches its Training Unit

One of its first initiatives is the Project Leader Advanced Program | 26/03/2009

Amorebieta-Etxano, 26.3.2009--- As part of its strategy of offering value to the automotive industry, AIC-Automotive Intelligence Center, has launched its Training Unit, officially known as the AIC Training Unit (AIC TU).

AIC TU’s general objectives include improving training levels for automotive professionals in all categories, facilitating new qualifications with a clear future in the industry, acting as an external/in-house training unit for businesses in the industry and attracting talent to the sector.

To that end, one of AIC TU’s first initiatives is specifying and defining the most urgent requirements of the industry and helping to satisfy them, for which it has the support and experience of companies in the sector and other related organizations.

One result of the efforts being made is the launch of the Project Leader Advanced Program, designed to provide a response to the industry’s growing need for professionals who know how to manage complex projects with several clients and in a range of countries. The program is designed principally for professionals at work and recent graduates or diploma holders wishing to work in the automotive industry.

The Project Leader Advanced Program has 408 hours of class-time in modules and teachers from prestigious organizations such as Ricardo Engineering, Europraxis, Sisteplant, Renault Consulting, ESEUNE and Lea Artibai Ikastetxea. It will start on 24 April and will run for eight months.

Apart from this Program, the AIC TU is also working on new initiatives in its workshop, seminars, programs and degrees, to be launched in the coming months.
