AIC launches six new training courses in may

13.5.2009--- AIC-Automotive Intelligence Center’s Training Unit (AIC TU) has

launched six new courses for May to provide value for the automotive industry.

The six courses are:

· Lean Workshop: cost saving in times of crisis. 8-hour course

starts 13 May at AIC-Automotive Intelligence Center facilities. Course given by

Human Management Systems. Addressed to general managers and intermediate

managers at firms in the automotive industry.

· Intra-Entrepreneurship: Broadening business through

innovation and creativity. 15-hour course divided into three sessions (May 14,

June 18 and July 16) begins 14 May at AIC- Automotive Intelligence Center

facilities. Run by Azter Consulting and Mondragon University, the course is

designed for general managers, marketing and R&D and innovation managers

from automotive firms.

· Workshop: Electronics & Diesel Engines. Scheduled for

Friday 15 at the AIC- Automotive Intelligence Center facilities, the Workshop will be

given entirely in English by experts from Ricardo Engineering

· Implementing 5S at automotive companies. A 15-hour course

scheduled to begin May 15 at the AIC-Automotive Intelligence Center facilities

in three sessions (May 15, June 5 and July 17). Given by Acorde Consulting,

ASLE, CDE Consultores and Consultoría Artesana en Red, the course is addressed

to automotive business Quality and Production Managers.

· Communication workshop: Communication in times of

crisis. Beginning on May 27 at the AIC-Automotive Intelligence Center

facilities, the 10-hour course is divided into two sessions (May 27 and June

3). Addressed to general managers and marketing, commercial and HR managers at

automotive companies.

· Deploying objectives and implementing Balanced

Scorecard (BSC). Begins May 29 at AIC-Automotive Intelligence Center,

the 20-hour course is divided over 4 days (May 29, June 12, July 2 and July 23)

and will be given by Acorde Consulting. Addressed to general managers and area

Managers at businesses in the automotive industry.

AIC TU general objectives

includes increasing training levels of automotive professionals in all

categories, facilitating new qualifications in the industry for the future,

acting as an external/internal information center for companies in the industry

and attracting talented people to the sector.

Run by Basque automotive cluster ACICAE, AIC is a foundation backed by

the Vizcaya Provincial Council, Amorebieta-Etxano and Ermua city halls and a

group of leading-edge firms in the automotive industry.
