AIC y BEAZ to Promote new business projects in the automotive Industry

Both organizations will provide entrepreneurs with a set of tools designed to facilitate the process of turning ideas into businesses Activity kicks off in January 2010 | 16/12/2009

Bilbao, 16.12.2009-- AIC-Automotive Intelligence Center director general Inés Anitua

and Raúl Onaindia, head honcho at local business promotion organization Beaz

signed a cooperation agreement yesterday committing their organizations to

promoting new high value business projects and attracting innovative projects.

Both organizations

will make available to entrepreneurs and businesses a set of tools designed to

help them turn their ideas into new business.

With launch

deadline at January 2010, the agreement entails coordinating a service and

activity offer within the AIC Business Development unit at AIC.

space for business incubator.

· Assessment on

developing new businesses.

· Training in a

range of entrepreneur-related issues.

· Contacts with

potential investors and partners.

· Location in areas

once incubation ends.

Backed by the Vizcaya

Provincial Council’s Department of Innovation & Economic Promotion, Beaz

promotes new, innovative business initiatives as a way of contributing to

economic development in Vizcaya.

AIC-Automotive Intelligence Center is a foundation backed by the Vizcaya

Provincial Council, the town councils of Amorebieta-Etxano and Ermua and a

group of leading-edge businesses from the automotive industry. Run by Basque

automotive cluster ACICAE, AIC addresses and works on knowledge, training,

technology and industrial development activities designed to improve

competitive levels in the Basque automotive industry through knowledge,

research and B2B cooperation.
