AIC brings major European Automotive Congress to Bilbao

22 and 23, AIC-Automotive Intelligence Center is to host the ANE-Automotive
News Europe Congress, which is expected to attract 350 top automotive
professionals. The choice of Bilbao for the Congress was made public at the
Geneva International Motor Show.
For two days in June, Bilbao
will be the rendezvous for the European automotive industry, where top
management from carmakers and suppliers from all over the world will address
attendees on their experiences and talk about coming trends in a wide range of
issues.
On this occasion, the
Congress is to run under the title Solutions
After a Crisis: Navigating Out of a European Downturn, concentrating on
three main issues:
· Intelligence: the
right decisions after the crisis.
· Innovation:
solutions through technological progress and ecological alternatives.
· Integration: how
both sides win when OEM and suppliers cooperate.
Speakers are to include CEOs from carmakers like BMW, Ford, General
Motors and Spyker; and tier one suppliers like Magna.
On the agenda for the Bilbao edition are the first annual Automotive
News Europe/Automotive Intelligence Center LEADER Awards (Leaders in European
Automotive Development, Excellence and Research) recognizing a manufacturer,
supplier and retailer for technical development and innovation excellence in
the European industry.
The ANE Congress is a benchmark event for the automotive industry,
attracting the leading figures from the sector to discuss issues of interest to
all. The previous edition was held in Turin, Italy.
AIC-Automotive Intelligence Center is a foundation promoted and backed
by Vizcaya Provincial Council, Amorebieta-Etxano and Ermua city halls, a group
of leading-edge businesses from the automotive industry and Basque automotive
cluster ACICAE. The automotive center provides a home for activities on
