AIC LAUNCHES NEW PEOPLE DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM FOR AUTOMOTIVE INDUSTRY

120-hour program targets professionals with in-team responsibilities Professionals set to pick up knowledge, skills and tools to improve way organizations function | 21/09/2010

Amorebieta-Etxano, 21.9.2010--- As part of its ongoing strategy to increase professional levels in the automotive industry, AIC-Automotive Intelligence Center has launched its Advanced Program for People Development in Business (APPDB).

Lasting 120 hours in all, the program employs an eminently practical, participative methodology based on learning through the daily experience of the individuals taking the program and group review and analysis.

The course is designed to give professionals working with equipment and people in the automotive industry the cutting-edge knowledge, skills and tools they need to optimize relations and results in organizations facing challenges from the growing internationalization and globalization of the economy and the ever-increasing reliance on new technologies.

In particular, the program is addressed to human resources officers and managers and covers all kinds of team-based projects.

Specific APPDB objectives include:

· Providing the necessary contents (concepts, procedures, techniques, specific skills and positive attitude orientations) for working efficiently with people in businesses in the industry.

· Endowing professionals taking the course with team-motivation and leader attitudes and skills and ensuring maximum commitment from people to the objectives of their department and the organization as a whole.

· Analyzing the role of people and teams in the strategic and operational reality of the company, in environments marked by constant change, scenarios where uncertainty and increasing globalization are keynote.

· Showing guidelines for connecting effectively with people, teams and organizations.

· Ensuring participants master cutting-edge tools and methodologies in the field.

· Designing practical strategies for managing talent and change effectively.

After the original Advanced Project Leader Program, this is the second initiative of its kind designed by the AIC Training Unit. General AIC TU objectives involve improving training levels for professionals throughout the industry in all categories, facilitating new qualifications for the industry of the future, acting as an internal and external training center for businesses and attracting talented people to the industry.
