AIC NEXT moves on to number three
Experts from a range of specialties to explain their view of the automotive world Latest edition scheduled for 23 October in Boroa | 21/10/2014Bilbao, 21.10.2014 On October 23 AIC-Automotive Intelligence Center is to host the third edition of the AIC NEXT-Creativity, Innovation and Values forum. Inspired by TED.com methodology, AIC NEXT is a meeting-place where experts from a range of disciplines can exchange ideas and develop new concepts for the automotive industry.
Using as broad an approach as possible to embrace anything from manufacturing, technology and mobility to sustainability, social integration and the end consumer, the project always takes the long view. So in the 2014 edition, under the general title New Perspectives on the Automotive Sector, a number of professionals will be covering issues like energy policy, smart transport, hydrogen and magnetic microthreads.
Participants in the latest edition include Jaciento Lobo, from Ence, Francesc Soriguera, from the Polytechnic University of Catalonia, Pedro Dieguez from the University of Navarra and Arkady Zhukov from UPV, the University of the Basque Country. Also taking part are entrepreneurs like Zigor Zarraga from WheelsLand.com, Carlos Castaño from EverybodyCar and AICs own Ricardo López Robles and Jon Galarza, who will all be talking about their projects.
Promoted by Bizkaia Provincial Council, Amorebieta-Etxamo and Ermua city halls, a group of cutting-edge automotive companies and Basque automotive cluster ACICAE, AIC provides a single umbrella for knowledge, training, technology and industrial development initiatives designed to improve competitive levels in the automotive industry.
