120-hour program for professionals in the industry contributing knowledge, skills and tools to improve performance of organizations | 15/06/2010

Amorebieta-Etxano,

15.6.2010--- As part of its ongoing strategy to improve professionalism in the

automotive industry as a whole, AIC-Automotive Intelligence Center has launched

its Advanced Program for People

Development in Business (APPDB).

The course is designed to give professionals working with equipment and

people in the automotive industry the most advanced knowledge, skills and tools

in the area to optimize relations and results in organizations facing

challenges from the growing internationalization and globalization of the

economy and the advance of the new technologies. In particular, the program is

addressed to human resources officers and managers and is for all kinds of

team-based projects.

Specific APPDB objectives include:

·

Providing the necessary contents (concepts,

procedures, techniques, specific skills and positive attitude orientations) for

working efficiently with people in businesses in the industry.

·

Endowing professionals taking the course with

team-motivation and leading attitudes and skills and ensuring maximum

commitment from people to the objectives of their department and the

organization as a whole.

·

Analyzing the role of people and teams in the

strategic and operational reality of the company, in environments marked by

constant change, scenarios where uncertainty is the keynote and increasing

globalization.

·

Showing guidelines for connecting effectively with

people, teams and organizations.

·

Ensuring that participants master cutting-edge tools

and methodologies in the field.

·

Designing practical strategies for managing talent and

change effectively.

Scheduled to begin in October, the 120-hour program will use an

eminently practical and participative methodology based on learning through the

daily experiences of everyone taking part, plus group-generated ideas and

thoughts.

After the original Advanced Project Leader Program, this is the second initiative

of its kind designed by the AIC Training Unit. General AIC TU objectives

involve improving training levels of professionals throughout the industry in

all categories, facilitating new qualifications for the industry of the future,

acting as an internal and external training center for businesses and

attracting talented people to the industry.

AIC is a foundation promoted and backed by Biscay Provincial Council,

Amorebieta-Etxano and Ermua city halls, a group of leading-edge companies in

the automotive industry and by Basque automotive cluster ACICAE. AIC integrates knowledge, technology and industrial

development under one umbrella in a bid to improve competitiveness in the

industry.
